His clothes are changed; he’s headed out the door, goin’ drinkin’ with the guys.

She comes to him with a great big smile a sparkle in her eyes.

She says I’ve made a change in the baby’s room so won’t you come and see?

He said I can’t right now, gotta get going, the guys are waiting for me.

Is he blind? When will he learn life's not always about him?

Time slips away, gone is another day, another missed opportunity.

Life passes by and then he’ll die and in the end what does he have?

Only memories of how he let her down as he tried to be her man.

Her eyes beaming with excitement; full of curiosity

She says 'Hey Daddy, I got this puzzle, and it looks like fun
